The gadget maker Scosche has announced the availability of
its Bluetooth 2.1 BoomStream speaker featuring a built-in microphone that can
be used for handsfree function with either Android or IOS devices.
The BoomStream has two 40 mm drivers and a passive subwoofer
facing down for enhanced bass. A 1200 mA battery provides up to eight hours of
continuous playback, and can also be used to charge a smart phone from the USB
charging port on the speaker.
"With the overwhelming success of our portable speaker
BoomCan, we knew we had to offer a wireless option," said Kas Alves,
executive vice president of Scosche Industries. BoomStream Scosche is now
available for the equivalent of 80 euros, comes with cables and audio load.
