Olympic Special Edition has the same specifications as the
tablet Iconia A510, the main difference being one of the Olympic rings engraved
on the back and a pre-loaded trial EurosportPlayer to see the station’s Olympic
coverage.
The Olympic edition maintains the 10-inch screen, resolution
of 1280 x 800 IPS, mini HDMI, a 5-megapixel rear camera and front camera of 1
megapixel. Inside is an Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core 1.3 GHz, along with the
Android 4.0 operating system.
Carphone Warehouse is taking pre-orders, but has not revealed
an exact date of shipment. Acer suggests that its price is around 432 euros
SIM-free.
